# Asia Trains — Rail Ninja Affiliate Guide to Asian Train Travel > asiatrains.com is an English-language, Tilda-hosted affiliate content site covering high-speed and long-distance train travel across eight Asian countries: South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. It provides country overviews, train-type guides, station guides, and 160+ point-to-point route pages, and funnels all bookings to Rail Ninja (rail.ninja) via UTM-tagged affiliate links. This site does not own or operate any trains in Asia. It is an independent informational guide; all ticket bookings are handled by the third-party affiliate partner Rail Ninja (rail.ninja), not by asiatrains.com itself. ## Data quality note This is one of the largest sites in this affiliate network (8 countries, 162 route pages, 7 train-type pages, dozens of station names). Verification below covers a representative cross-section: all reachable country hub pages, all 7 train-type pages, 9 individually-linked station pages, and 25 of 162 route pages (roughly 2 route pairs per country, weighted toward major corridors). Routes and most named stations not individually fetched are listed by URL only in the sections below and are explicitly marked unverified — confirm live figures before quoting them. Notable issues found during verification (full detail in llms-full.txt): - Indonesia is the only one of the 8 countries with no country hub page — `/indonesia-trains` and `/indonesia-train` both 404, even though Indonesia has 10 route pages and is fully featured elsewhere on the site. - Reverse-direction route pairs routinely disagree on duration and/or daily departure counts (e.g. Daegu↔Seoul: 140 vs. 117 departures/day quoted; Jakarta↔Bandung: 14 vs. 27 departures/day; Butterworth↔Kuala Lumpur: page text itself gives three different departure counts — 5, 4, and "two" — across the pair). - Both Bangkok↔Chiang Mai route pages (a 10+ hour, 686 km journey) contain a leftover marketing line claiming the trip takes "just under three hours" — boilerplate bled in from a much shorter route. - The Whoosh (Indonesia) train-type page states the Jakarta–Bandung journey takes "40–45 minutes," but both actual Jakarta↔Bandung route pages say ~29–30 minutes. - A footer link on the Japan routes list is malformed: the Osaka→Fukuoka anchor's href has two URLs concatenated together (though the underlying page itself loads fine at the clean URL). - The Hsinchu Railway Station page's architectural details (built 2002–2006, designed by Kris Yao, connected to Liujia via a 2011 rail extension) describe Taiwan High Speed Rail's Hsinchu station in Zhubei, not the historic 1913 Taiwan Railway Administration station that "Hsinchu Railway Station" usually refers to — likely two different stations conflated under one page. - FAQ accordion answers are hidden behind Tilda's JS widget across every page type on this site; only question headers could be retrieved, never answer text. - The `/train-stations` index names 61 station/city entries across 8 countries, but only 9 have an individually reachable dedicated station page in the site's actual navigation — Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia have zero dedicated station pages despite having route pages. ## Trains & Network Overview - [Train Types in Asia](https://www.asiatrains.com/train-types): Index of 7 featured train types (Shinkansen/Nozomi, KTX, ETS, Fuxing Hao, HSR) with one-line specs each. - [KTX Trains](https://www.asiatrains.com/ktx-trains): Korea's high-speed train, operated by Korail;
