Hsinchu Railway Station

Two platforms are located on each side of the station, making it the smallest in the system. A new rail link between the TRA Hsinchu station and Liujia station (an extension of the 7.5-mile Neiwan Line) has been opened by the Taiwan Railway Administration. As of November 11, 2011, Liujia Line has been in service.

Construction of the station was carried out by Daiho Corporation, designed by Kris Yao. It covers 10,451 m2 (112,490 sq ft) of building site area, and 20,360 m2 (219,200 sq ft) of total floor area. Construction began in July 2002 and ended in October 2006.
